does it get more winter prep than duck boots?

i'm still rockin' my bean's boots, circa 8th grade (no lie.) but that's the thing about these babies: they last forever.they're all-american. a classic. exhibit a: the boys over at proenza schouler wouldn't be caught dead without theirs...
